Ottawa Good Food Box
The Good Food Box program works like a wholesale buying club. Good Food Box customers place an order and pay for five types of boxes either online or through a site volunteer. Orders placed in the first week of the month can be collected two weeks later at one of 35 community pick up sites.
With prices ranging from $5 for a fruit bag to $25 for an organic box of fruit and veggies, customers can enjoy wholesale savings of 30-40%. Carrots, onions, and apples, as well as seasonal produce, such as green beans or strawberries are but some of the staples found in the various boxes. A helpful newsletter of recipes, cooking tips, and nutritional information is also included with the box.

Good Food Markets
Good Food Markets are community-run markets that sell healthy foods at great value. These markets bring fresh vegetables and fruit as well as dried goods to neighbourhoods where it might not otherwise be available and where farmers’ markets are not viable.
